NS fun (break-ins and Rice Krispies...

OMG, where have we been?...
Apparently we’re too caught up in our rockstar lives to keep our website up to date, but it would seem that I’ve found enough downtime to update the world on what’s going on with Los Medicinos.

Well, as those of you close to us know we’ve been playing shows relentlessly both in Charlottetown and abroad. We’ve been proud to be sharing the stage with local juggernauts like Battery Point, Smothered in Hugs, The Danks, Pat Deighan and the Orb Weavers among others as well as some mainland talents like Montreal’s Hot Springs, Toronto’s The Free Press, Halifax’s Alert the Medic, Folds of Policy, First Aid Kit and of course our close friends The Gypsys…. We just got back from an amazing road trip to Nova Scotia where we had some of our most exhilarating shows to date… The Marquee club where an anonymous member of our band accidentally set off the alarm system, Acadia University where we rocked a house party for a few hundred wild 20somethings (thanks for the Rice Krispies, Jess) and the Grawood at Dalhousie University where 50% of our band ended up bleeding on stage (and loved it)…

We have big plans for the near and distant future… Our next show is a LIVE in CONCERT at The Guild on 111 Queen St in Charlottetown, PE, featuring The Gypsies. That one’s expected to sell out so get your tickets ASAP because we want to see you there… Then we’re off to Fredericton for a few wreckers with our friends from Battery Point. We’re also currently writing for our first full length release pushing to go into recording at the end of April. Our demo has been picked up by the good folks at Newcap’s KROCK 105.5 so listen for our single “Sidelines” on Sonic Source.

Keep checking us out and we’ll keep rocking your pants off… literally.
